Day 1

XiAn

Arrive to XiAn, transfer to hotel.

Overnight at XiAn.

 

Day 2

XiAn – Zhangye (B/L)

After breakfast, we will visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum and have lunch in Lintong. After visiting the Terracotta Army and Horses, after that we will head back to the city.

We will go to Huimin Street, where everyone can freely taste some local food and enjoy the night view of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.

After that, we went to the railway station and took the night sleeping train at 22:52 pm to ZhangYe. Here we will spend the night on the train.

 

Day 3

ZhangYe – LinZe (L/D)

Our train will arrive in Zhangye at noon. Then go to the restaurant for lunch.

After that, we will visit ZhangYe Binggou Danxia, has been nominated as the World’s top 10 magical geographical wonders. Various of rocks formation can be found here, some of them look like building such as palace or pagoda.

Overnight at LinZe.

 

Day 4

LinZe – Jiayuguan – Yumen (B/L/D)

Depart to Jiayuguan in the morning and visit Jiayuguan attractions – Jiayuguan pass, Overhanging great wall, Great Wall Museum of Jiayuguan, First Pier of the Great Wall.

Overnight at Yumen.

 

Day 5

Yumen – Dunhuang – Crescent Lake – Dunhuang (B/L/D)

Today depart for Dunhuang, and visit Crescent Lake. It is located in an oasis surrounded by Mingsha mountain. Crescent Lake is known as “the first spring in the desert”, and it was named as Crescent Lake due to its crescent moon shape.

Overnight in Dunhuang.

 

Day 6

Dunhuang – Mogao Caves – Turpan (B/L/D)

Today will be visit Mogao Caves, also known as Cave of the Thousand Buddhas. It is the most best-preserved cave murals in China.

Next, depart to Liuyuan railway station and board the rain to Turpan.

Overnight in Turpan.

 

Day 7

Turpan – Tuyugou – Ancient Uyghur village – Jiaohe Ruins – Qanat – Turpan (B/L/D)

In the morning, depart to Tuyugou and visit the ancient Uyghur village, to experience their lifestyle, culture and tradition.

Next, visit Jiaohe ruins and Qanat in Turpan. Jiaohe Ruins, one of the best-preserved ancient ruined cities which has been over 2000 years in China.

Overnight at Turpan.

 

Day 8

Turpan – Flaming Mountains – Urumqi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Flaming mountains which is popular due to a classic of Chinese literature “The Journey to the West”.

Overnight in Urumqi.

 

Day 9

Urumqi – Heavenly Lake of Tianshan – Urumqi Grand Bazaar – Urumqi (B/L/D)

Today, we will visit Heavenly Lake of Tianshan.

Next, visit Urumqi International Grand Bazaar, a must-see Islamic bazaar that famous for Xinjiang traditional cuisines, handicraft, as well as dancing and singing perfomances.

Overnight at Urumqi.

 

Day 10

Urumqi – XiAn – Home 

Free and easy after breakfast, take the afternoon flight to XiAn, and transfer to the evening flight back to Kuala Lumpur/Singapore.

End a pleasant journey.
