Day 1

Tromsø (-/-/HC Dinner)

Arrival at Tromsø Airport.

Stay in Tromsø City, take a rest due to the long flight.

*If weather permit, we will be out for Northern Lights Hunt after dinner.

 

Day 2

Tromsø (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Arctic Cathedral. Its unique white shape resembles both an iceberg and a houseboat. People passing by will always be stopped by its stunning appearance.

Free & Easy at Tromsø City.

After dinner, take the Fjellheisen cable car to the 421-meter-high Storsteinen Mountain and enjoy the night view of the city, a must-see attraction in Tromsø. if you are lucky, you may have a chance  to meet the northern lights at the top of the mountain.

Stay in Tromsø City.

 

Day 3

Tromsø – Narvik (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

Today will be the day when the road trip officially begins. There is no specific destination along the route; you may enjoy breathtaking landscape throughout the journey.

Enjoy the freedom of self-driving tours, which allow you to stop and go as you like.

Stay in Narvik or nearby

Day 4

Narvik – Kabelvåg (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

Today we will take the coastal road E10 towards the Lofoten Islands.

The E10 is the main road connecting the Lofoten Islands from east to west, offering stunning views of the mountains and the sea.

Our first stop on the Lofoten Islands will be Kabelvåg. It is a relatively small town. It is the oldest town in the whole Northern Norway, with roots dating back to the Middle Ages.

Day 5

Kabelvåg – Reine (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

Set off for the town of Reine, which earned the reputation of “the most beautiful village in the Arctic Circle” and “the most beautiful fishing village in Norway”. The picturesque fishing village Reine, which is surrounded by the steep mountains that rise directly from the sea and has a gorgeous panorama of Reinefjord and small islands.

Stay in a Rorbu, Reine

Day 6

Reine – Å – Hamnøy – Reine (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

After breakfast, explore other fishing villages and towns around Reine.

Å is the westernmost village in Lofoten, located at the end point of E10. It will makes you feel you’ve reached the edge of the world.

Hamnøy is a very small fishing village. The facilities in the town are very limited too. Yet another hidden wonderland that seems isolated from the world.

Stay in a Rorbu, Reine

Day 7

Reine – Henningsvaer (HC Breakfast/-/HC Dinner)

Say goodbye to the peaceful fishing village and head back to Henningsvaer.

Henningsvaer, a small town on the eat coast of the Lofoten Islands, often called as the “Venice of Lofoten”. Henningsvaer Football Stadium is one of the world’s most amazing and scenic football fields tucked in between tall mountains surrounded by sea and fjords.

Stay in Henningsvaer.

Day 8

Henningsvaer – Svolvær – Harstad/Narvik Airport (EVE)(HC Breakfast/-/-)

In the morning, we will drive towards Svolvær, the starting point of the Lofoten Islands and one of the largest towns on the islands.

As the final stop on out Lofoten Islands journey, we can enjoy lunch here, stroll around town and take some photos, or visit the Lofoten War Museum (optional) to learn about the history of World War II.

then, we will bid farewell to the Lofoten Islands and head towards the airport.

Check in at airport hotel.

Day 9

Harstad/Narvik Airport (EVE) – Home (Hotel Breakfast)

Catch the flight back to KUL/SG.
