As we stroll through the city, Beanz will introduce you to the key landmarks and capture those perfect moments for you along the way.

We’ve designed a fun stamping activity just for you! On each gathering day, you’ll receive a unique stamp. By the end of the journey, collecting all the stamps will create a special memento of your travels. Don’t forget to collect your first stamp today!

Whether you’ve just arrived or have been exploring early, you’ll meet a group of fellow travelers who share your curiosity about the world, kicking off your Nordic adventure together.

Every December, Tallinn transforms into a fairyland, with its Christmas market crowned Europe’s Best in 2019. Legend has it that Tallinn is home to the world’s first-ever public Christmas tree—a must-see! Stroll through charming stalls, shop for handcrafted gifts, and warm up with a cup of mulled wine. And, of course,

Day 3

Departure from Helsinki (Free Exploration Day)

Today is all about exploring at your own pace. You can stay in Helsinki to soak in the fusion of modernity and history in Finland’s capital, or hop on a train to nearby destinations like Turku, Hämeenlinna, or Tampere.

Turku
As Finland’s oldest city, Turku exudes a rich historical charm in winter. You can visit Turku Castle and stroll along the snow-covered riverside paths, experiencing the perfect blend of ancient history and modern vibes.

Hämeenlinna
Known for its medieval castle and natural beauty, Hämeenlinna is a paradise for history lovers. Step into Häme Castle and learn about its transformation from a military fortress to a noble residence and then a prison.

Tampere
Known as Finland’s sauna capital, Tampere is a city rich in industrial heritage yet brimming with cultural allure. Explore the serene lakeside views, or visit local museums and cozy cafes to soak in the city’s unique winter atmosphere.

Day 4

Oulu (Pitstop)

On Day 4, everyone will head to our next meeting spot—the accommodation in Oulu, a charming city on Finland’s western coastline. Once an important hub for ancient maritime trade, Oulu may not be a famous tourist destination, but its unique location makes it a perfect stopover to the northern regions of Finland.

After arriving at the accommodation in Oulu, the schedule is quite relaxed. You can rent equipment from the resort to try winter activities such as kicksledding, skiing, or snowshoeing. Alternatively, you can join an ice fishing experience and immerse yourself in the unique joys of a Nordic winter.

In the evening, Beanz will prepare a delicious Nanyang dinner for everyone, where we can share our travel stories. Don’t forget to collect your third stamp! As night falls, Beanz will guide everyone to wait for the aurora near the accommodation (if weather and KP index permitting).

Included:

  • Beanz’s Aurora photography (*if weather permits)
  • Resort accommodation (twin sharing)
  • Beanz Nanyang-Style Dinner

Day 5/6

Departing from Oulu

It’s free day time again! Will you hop on an icebreaker, visit the wild animals in Ranua, or head straight to Rovaniemi for a chat with Santa Claus? The choice is all yours!

Kemi
If you want to experience an icebreaker adventure, this is definitely a must-stop destination! It’s one of the best starting points for your icebreaker journey. Board the icebreaker to witness the spectacular sight of the ship crushing through thick layers of ice, and suit up in special thermal gear to float in the icy waters—an adventure that will leave you in awe!

Ranua
Famous for Finland’s northernmost zoo, Ranua is home to various Arctic animals. Polar bears, wolves, and Arctic foxes await you. It’s a great opportunity to learn about their natural habits.

Rovaniemi
The famous Arctic city and the home of Santa Claus, a dreamlike fairytale destination for people from tropical countries. Visit Santa Claus Village, snap a picture with Santa. Rovaniemi also offers exciting snow activities such as reindeer sleigh rides, husky sledding, ice fishing, and snowmobiling—perfect for experiencing the winter wonderland. For an unforgettable stay, spend a night in a glass igloo and gaze at the aurora borealis in the sky.

Included:

  • Beanz Nanyang-Style Breakfast

Day 7

Rovaniemi (Pitstop)

Today, we gather at Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi! Whether you arrived the day before or in the morning, head straight to the village.

We’ll have two walking tours of Santa Claus Village, where you can visit Santa’s office and even snap a picture with him. Don’t forget to send a postcard with an Arctic Circle stamp to a loved one! Besides these tours, you’re free to explore the village, interact with Santa, reindeer ride, or even have some fun playing hide-and-seek with Beanz!

After collecting your final stamp, you can send it off for a special holiday surprise—perhaps a Christmas greeting from the Arctic!

In the evening, Beanz will welcome everyone at the accommodation and prepare a cozy Nanyang dinner for our last night together. As night falls, Beanz will guide everyone to wait for the aurora near the accommodation (if weather and KP index permitting).

Included:

  • Beanz’s travel photography at the Santa Claus Village & Aurora photography (*if weather permits)
  • Resort accommodation (twin sharing)
  • Beanz Nanyang-Style Dinner

Day 8

End of the Trip

After enjoying a hotel breakfast, our journey comes to an end. You can choose to continue exploring Rovaniemi or head further north to Inari. Looking to dive deeper into Finnish northern life? Set out for Inari, Finland’s northernmost town, where you’ll find breathtaking landscapes and a melting pot of Sámi culture.

Inari
Inari in winter is quiet and enchanting. You can visit the Sámi Museum to learn about Finland’s indigenous culture or stay in a glass igloo, lying in bed to wait for the Northern Lights to appear. There are also plenty of snowy activities like snowshoeing, reindeer sleigh rides, and husky sledding, all with a unique Arctic charm!
