Day 1:

Home Mexico City (CDMX)

Upon arrival in Mexico City, our tour leader will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
No sightseeing is arranged for today, allowing time to rest and adjust to the time difference.

In the evening, you may enjoy free time to stroll around or explore the surroundings near the hotel at your own pace.

Day 2:

Mexico City (CDMX): Xochimilco & Coyoacán

Today marks the official start of our Mexico journey.
We begin in the historic district of Coyoacán, which dates back to pre-Hispanic times and still retains cobblestone streets and colonial-style architecture.

Next, visit the renowned Frida Kahlo Museum (Blue House), where we step into the life and artistic world of this legendary painter.

In the afternoon, continue to Xochimilco, known as the “Floating Gardens” of the Aztec era.
We will board a colorful trajinera flatboat and glide along the canals, surrounded by flowers and vibrant scenery, experiencing Mexico’s unique water culture.

Return to Mexico City in the evening.

Day 3:

Mexico City (CDMX): Teotihuacán (Lunch included)

After breakfast, we set out for a full-day cultural and historical exploration.
We begin at Tlatelolco, once the largest market of the Aztec Empire, where the Plaza de las Tres Culturas showcases pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern architecture all in one place.

Continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico’s most important religious site and one of the world’s most visited Catholic pilgrimage destinations.

Next, visit El Quetzal Artesanias, a workshop dedicated to obsidian crafts. Here, we will learn about this ancient artistry and taste Mexico’s iconic spirit—Tequila. Handicrafts and souvenirs are also available.

In the afternoon, we head to the world-famous Teotihuacán, known as the “City of the Gods.” Guided tours will take us to the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon, where we learn about the significance of this ancient civilization.

Free time will also be provided for personal exploration.

Return to Mexico City in the evening.

Day 4:

Mexico City (CDMX)

This morning, enjoy a unique perspective of the city with a Cablebús Line 2 experience.
We begin at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, travel by metro with locals, and admire the station’s artistic decorations.

Then, we board the cable car for a bird’s-eye view of the city, colorful houses, bustling markets, skyscrapers, and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, we will visit Mercado Desarrollo Urbano Quetzalcoatl, where you can sample authentic street food and feel the local lifestyle.

The journey continues with a visit to the Yancuic Museum, showcasing the culture and urban art of Iztapalapa.

After lunch, the afternoon will be free for personal exploration in Mexico City.

Day 5:

Mexico City (CDMX) → San Miguel de Allende

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Mexico City and drive to the charming colonial town of San Miguel de Allende. Famed for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture, colorful streets, and vibrant arts scene, it is often described as one of Mexico’s most beautiful towns.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, we check in and rest. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll nearby, soaking in the romantic ambiance and artistic atmosphere.

Day 6:

San Miguel de Allende

Today we enjoy a half-day walking tour of San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and romantic charm.

Highlights include the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel and the lively central square.
Our tour leader will also assist with photography, capturing memorable moments in this picture-perfect town.

The afternoon is at leisure, explore art galleries, browse handicraft shops, or relax in a local café, fully immersing yourself in the town’s unique charm.

Day 7:

San Miguel de Allende → Guanajuato

After breakfast, we depart for the historic city of Guanajuato, renowned for its winding underground tunnels, colorful houses, and colonial atmosphere.

Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is often considered one of Mexico’s most captivating cities.

Arrive in the afternoon, check in, and enjoy some rest.

In the evening, take a relaxed walk nearby to get a first impression of the city’s vibrant spirit.

Day 8:

Guanajuato

This morning, we embark on a 3-hour guided walking tour of Guanajuato, one of Mexico’s most romantic cities.
Highlights include:
**Plaza de la Paz, reflecting the city’s Catholic and mining heritage.
**The legendary Alley of the Kiss, with its famous love story.
**Plaza de San Fernando, alive with festive and bohemian vibes.

We will also visit Mercado Hidalgo, a lively market full of local delicacies and crafts, and step into history at the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, an important site of Mexico’s War of Independence. Finally, we visit the Diego Rivera House Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the iconic Mexican artist.

The afternoon is free for personal exploration. Stroll through colorful alleys, relax in a café, or shop for unique souvenirs while enjoying the city’s enchanting atmosphere.

Day 9:

Guanajuato Merida

Today we fly to Mérida, the cultural heart of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Before departure, enjoy some free time in Guanajuato for a final stroll.

After lunch, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Mérida. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 10:

Merida

This morning, join the tour leader for a walking tour of Mérida’s historic center, with its colorful streets, colonial architecture, and vibrant atmosphere.

After lunch, enjoy free time to continue exploring at your own pace or relax in a café.

Day 11:

Merida → Valladolid

After breakfast, we drive to the picturesque colonial town of Valladolid (approx. 3.5 hours). Famous for its colorful streets, relaxed central plaza, and Mayan influences, Valladolid is one of the Yucatán’s most charming towns.

Upon arrival, check in and enjoy free time to wander its cobblestone streets, admire the colorful houses, or relax at a café near the square.

A light day, perfect for preparing for the upcoming explorations.

Day 12:

Valladolid: Chichén Itzá Day Tour (Includes: light breakfast + buffet lunch)

Today we visit Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With our guide, we will explore the Kukulcán Pyramid (El Castillo) and learn fascinating stories about astronomy, ball games, and rituals that reveal the wisdom of the Mayan civilization.

After lunch, we visit the stunning Cenote Xcajum, where you may swim in the crystal-clear waters of this natural sinkhole, once sacred to the Mayans.

On the way back, we stop at the colorful town of Uayma, where the unique colonial church with geometric patterns offers a perfect photo opportunity.

Day 13:

Valladolid: Río Lagartos Day Tour ( Includes: light breakfast + buffet lunch )

A day dedicated to nature and unique landscapes.
We begin with a boat ride through the Río Lagartos Nature Reserve, a haven of mangroves and wetlands home to flamingos, crocodiles, pelicans, and other wildlife.

Continue to the dreamlike Las Coloradas Pink Lakes, where the striking pink hue is created by salt and microorganisms, a true natural wonder and a fantastic photo spot.

After lunch, refresh with a visit to Cenote Hubiku, an underground sinkhole with crystal-clear waters illuminated by natural light, offering an unforgettable swimming experience.

Day 14:

Valladolid → Playa del Carmen

After breakfast, we transfer to the Caribbean coast and the lively resort town of Playa del Carmen (approx. 3 hours).

Our hotel is conveniently located near the famous Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue), lined with shops, restaurants, and cafés. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to stroll the area or relax by the beach.

Day 15:

Playa del Carmen Cancún

On our final full day, enjoy the tropical vibes of Playa del Carmen.
This morning, our tour leader will guide a short walking exploration of the town’s lively neighborhoods.
The afternoon is free for shopping, relaxation, or optional activities.

Optional Tour:
Full-day trip to Cozumel Island , renowned for its crystal-clear waters and rich marine life.
Enjoy snorkeling or diving in one of the world’s top underwater destinations. (Travel by ferry; activity takes most of the day.)

After dinner, we will transfer to Cancún and check in at our airport hotel for a convenient overnight stay before tomorrow’s departure.

Day 16:

Cancún Home

Today marks the end of our Mexican adventure.
We will transfer to Cancún International Airport for your flight home, or onward to next journey.
Take one last walk along the beach or enjoy the Caribbean breeze before concluding this unforgettable journey through Mexico.

    Mountainous areas or early mornings/evenings may be cooler and have more insects; pack a light jacket and insect repellent.
    Several cenotes are included in the itinerary, so please bring swimwear for swimming.
